Mulberry Design Studio is led by Komal Rustagi. She believes design is not merely about spaces - it is about crafting experiences that feel intuitive, timeless, and deeply personal. With over 15 years of experience in architecture and interior design, Komal has shaped a practice rooted in thoughtful detail, understated luxury, and effortless functionality.

Educated as an architect, she went on to pursue a Master’s in Interior Design from Domus Academy, Milan, where she was immersed in the world of international design, contemporary aesthetics, and innovative thinking. This global exposure continues to inform her work today, allowing her to seamlessly blend international sensibilities with Indian craftsmanship, culture, and way of living.

Over the years, she along with  her team have designed and delivered more than 200 residential and commercial projects, each reflecting a balance of luxury, comfort, and clarity of purpose. Her spaces are elegant yet livable - designed to age gracefully while responding to the everyday needs of those who inhabit them.

To complement her creative vision with operational excellence, Komal completed a management program at the Indian School of Business (ISB). This foundation has strengthened her expertise in project planning, execution, and team leadership, ensuring that every project journey is as seamless as the final outcome.

Today, Komal leads a carefully curated team of architects, interior designers, visualisers, and project managers, offering end-to-end design solutions - from concept and design development to execution and handover. Together, they bring to life spaces that are refined, functional, and quietly luxurious.
